Actavis Introduces Two New Products in Turkey
Actavis has launched its isotretinoin product under the brand name Zoretanin in Turkey.
Zoretanin, a treatment for severe acne, is the only generic isotretinoin available in Turkey, according to Actavis.
The product became available Sept. 19 in 10- and 20-mg capsules, the company said.
The company also launched a generic version of glimepiride, originally released by Aventis Pharma under the brand name Amaryl to treat Type 2 diabetes. The Actavis brand name in Turkey is Diaglin.
The product is available in 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-mg tablets, Actavis added.
